Moana Research is a consultancy group of researchers and clinicians committed to making the early years the best start in life for all children. They’re focused on evidence-based solutions through research so that families have access to essential services and resources during pregnancy and in the first five years of life.
Establish in 2017, The group consists of six highly skilled medical researchers who are passionate about the health and well-being of children in New Zealand.
Like most businesses starting out, not all of them have large budgets to develop their branding. The team at Moana Research were in a similar situation when they decided to branch off from the University of Aucklands’ faculty of medicine to create their own research consultancy firm.
Bright Sunday being a marketing and communications agency geared specifically for Pacific business owners and community projects, decided to take on Moana Research as a “pro bono” client based on their merits as a team focused on the health and well-being of Pacific youth under their previous organisational structure at the University of Auckland.
After several rounds of feedback, I developed a logo, brand colour scheme and website to help the team at Moana Research with their essential communication needs for their first couple of years operating as an independent research consultancy group.
